Dresses for Mid size queens.

Let’s talk dresses

Dresses are the Holy grail for us " Curvy Girls ". Did you know that you don't have to be plus-size to actually be called curvy?  We have mid-size girls who are neither petite nor plus-size; they fall somewhere in between. Today's blog is all about how we style clothes on our body types. Of course, these are just my ideas as a mid-size girl that I would love to share with you. Feel free to give me more tips or even correct me if I mention something you disagree with.

Underwear

First, let's make sure we have nice and fitting panties under our dresses. If you have a bigger tummy size, then high waist panties are the best because they allow you to create a smooth silhouette because the waistband is slightly above the navel.

Small cup size

For a smaller bust size, you can wear an egg-shaped O-line dress. Pair it with high heeled shoes to elongate the silhouette. And for my short babes, high-heeled shoes are a must, as egg-shaped dresses can make you look shorter and round. Do opt for wedge shoes if your knees don't allow you to wear pumps! (Thats me. Lol)

A high neck dress also works well with a small bust, just make sure it's loose from the waist down so it doesn't hug your curves too tightly.

Large cup size

Dresses that show off your beautiful cleavage are a must. Wear these with confidence because not everyone is as blessed as you.

Just like the small cup size gals, make sure the dress sits loosely on the lower part of your body.

Empire dresses are also ideal for big a bust and if you have a bigger waist, don't worry. Empire style optically shifts the waist higher giving you an elongated silhouette also the breast gets an amazing shape

Finally

Do's

- With loose fitting dresses, tie a belt or scarf around the narrowest part of the waist to get the hourglass shape effect

- You can never go wrong with wrap dresses

Dont's

- Avoid shiny fabrics, e.g. satin

- Refrain from ruffle dresses and skirts

- Hands off sequin dresses.
